Face Your Battles Warrior
CHAPTER 1
Meet The Hero
Bodies littered the burning field as far as the eye could see, and then some. These cold and un-breathing bodies would never see their families again. This battle field was just as gruesome as others. Except this time instead of a team of survivors, there was only one.
They called him the Poison Warrior.
No one saw his face or heard his voice, leaving him a lone wolf. The only people the warrior spoke with were a select couple of men he trusted. Sadly some of the men the warrior called friend didn’t have the gods looking down on them that day.
But here he stood with sad eyes looking on the carnage with an emptiness that began to grew in his soul. Tears threatened to pour over, and they did. Tears fell in tragic silence behind the warrior’s helmet, shielded from the judgmental world known as Pandora. While Pandora offered many beautiful lands and people, there were always a few bad apples of the group to ruin everything.
The Bad Apple of this era went by the name of Blackwood Firetongue. The people of Pandora gave him this name from the damage he left behind him, always charring everything to a crisp and bathing everything he saw in fire. The fire breather was rumored to have magic of his own, something that only very pure souled creatures could obtain, unless those with bad intentions went to the Underground. While everyone knew of its existence, they were weary to go into the mouth of Hell for there were much worse things down there than ever imagined.
Dragons, Orcs, Witches.
Anything thine mind could think up and then some.
The warrior had only seen Blackwood once and was lucky to have survived. He guessed that Blackwood hadn’t seen him. Not much made the warrior quiver with fear, but this man- no. This vile creature was able to shake the walls of his very soul. With the glimpse that was seared into the back of his eyes, he was able to take a mental picture that haunted him to this day. Blackwood’s skin was grey and flawless. His hair was a wild mess of red that mimicked the flames he was able to produce with his mouth. The villain’s ears were pointed at the end and held many precious jewels. His teeth sharp enough to cut yourself on. Not a trace of humanity was left in him. While he looked as if carved by angels, the illusion was quite the opposite. He was cunning with his battle strategies and didn’t seem to have the word mercy in his vocabulary.
There wasn’t a single drop of human left in him. Not after he sold his soul. All of this was of course whispered amongst those who dared speak his name and conspire together. The man was said to have been betrayed by his brother and father, whom no one knows of their true identities, and afterwards his heart was filled with nothing but rage. Somehow when he was a human he traveled to the Underground and made a deal with the devil.
His soul for immortality and power.
But of course the devil put a twist on it, turning him into the demon only those he kills or maims behold. When the deal was made, it was as if it gave life to the ever growing darkness that threatened to roam over Pandora. The deal made the heart of darkness beat again, and stronger. Orcs, trolls, and monsters alike seemed to be urged to pillage and destroy anything they wanted. Many villages had fallen victim not only to the creatures, but Blackwood himself as well. Thankfully the neighboring kingdoms were able to lend a hand and keep the monsters at bay, for now at least.
No doubt Blackwood was at his palace scheming for the battle. While he was granted immortality and power, he was limited. No one knew of it, but Blackwood was forced to perform a ritual to his lord and savior Satan himself to keep the immortality healing his body. The offering he brought to his lord was always the blood of the innocent. Nothing did the trick like such. While his reasons for murdering peasants weren’t quite clear, most think that all he wants is blood after being betrayed by his father and brother.
The war had started three years ago when the villain arose from the shambles of his pre-human form. The people and creatures of the nations that made Pandora were never brave enough to go to his palace, let alone cross the border to Delarknia, where Blackwood dwelled. The land matched his short tempered personality and flaming powers. Delarknia was littered with volcanoes and was seated on unstable ground that was filled with cracks and dead foliage and trees of every kind. But of course no one dared to set foot in his domain.
So for now they enjoyed the peacefulness of their own land.
Many lands made up the wonderful continent of Pandora that stretched far and wide. For the most part, creatures of the same kind stuck together and created their own nations. There were no laws forbidding travel to other lands, but some creatures, such as hobbits and elves, preferred living with their own kind. The most adventurous of creatures were always the humans and dwarves, such curious things they were.
But today I am not here to give you the history of the land you inhabit, but to tell you the journey of a warrior who stands up for what they believe in without hesitation.
A warrior whose big heart and bravery would be their undoing.
A warrior whose misfortunes land them some unlikely friends.
This journey has the potential to get quiet gruesome, so those of you weak of stomach may wish to turn away….
Treks such as this threaten to tear the soul, or trick the mind. For once you suspect things to be as they are, those are the times tragedies come at their worst.
The mind isn’t always as strong as we believe it is. It can be twisted and confused. Even the heart and soul has its weaknesses.
But when tested who prevails?
Will the Poison Warrior come out of the smoke victorious?
Will he be tempted by the darkness that dwells in every soul?
But everyone has their own battles to face,
Questions is-
Will you face yours?
So be warned…..
Once you step foot in to your fate,
There is no return.

You felt your breath hitch on your throat- or more like the air being knocked out of your lungs as your eyes locked with his. Only one thought was running through your mind.
Damn he is handsome
You really had to acknowledge that because damn him he was. And coming from you, who had seen so many men over the past years while your father tried to find you the right one to marry, meant something.
Especially now that you had met Dean.
But this man- this man was much more different than him. Handsome in his own way.
Tall. He was certainly really tall. Slim, the g

Then:“Well there is no point in getting worked up about it right now. It’s late and you boys need sleep. Go up stairs... I’ll watch her to see if she wakes up.” Both boys were about to argue before Bobby butted in again.
“Don’t bother arguing with me you idjits. Now go.”
Chapter Eleven:
Now:
Your eyes peeled open as you quietly stretched your stiff muscles.
“I had the worst nightmare, Kay-“ You eyes got a little larger as you looked around an unknown room. You were lying on a bed next to a window, which had sunlight pouring in through the curtains. Your head whipped to face a doorway a

You felt overwhelmed. You had to say, though, that it was a pleasant overwhelming. They had done a fantastic job, better than any other time before, with the decorations. Maybe it was mostly attributed to the fact that you had given your opinion on most of the matters and checked every little detail before they could go on with their plans. The previous years you rarely paid much attention to such things but this year everything was different (for sure) and in order to take your mind off of the things that were happening you prefered to pay extra attention to how

I always misread Pandora as Pandorica and as a Whovian reading a Supernatural fanfic, I have issues 😅
